Now for the eyes. Stuff the head well. Cut a long piece of yarn and remove the eyes. Place the

slightly on the yarn after going through each hole. Do this about 3 times on each side until you
reach the look you want. Follow the pictures for help. There is also a youtube video I have for

To place the backs of the eyes you will need to remove most of the stuffing to place the

Pull the yarn to tighten it up and repeat about 12 more times. Weave in the yarn tails.

Arms
Rnd 1. Pin the arms approximately between rounds 36 and 37, on the side of the body.
Rnd 2. Sew the arms onto the body.

Sleeves
Rnd 1. Pin the sleeves onto the body. Wrap the sleeve around the top over the arms. Pin in
the back and the front.
Rnd 2. Sew the sleeves onto the body on the front, back and sides. Weave in the tails.

Ears
Rnd 1. Pin the ears onto the top of the head approximately between rounds 20 and 21.
Rnd 2. Sew the ears onto the head.

Tail
Rnd 1. If you want the tail, Pin the tail onto the back of the body approximately between
rounds 12 and 13 underneath the skirt. I did not want a tail on my girl mouse so I have
no pictures for that.
Rnd 2. Sew the tail onto the body.

Embellishments
Rnd 1. Pin the purple waistband around the body. Sew the band onto the body.
Rnd 2. If you want the rhinestones, place one on the front of the sleeves with glue or get
self adhesive rhinestones. I chose to place one on since this was for my daughter that is
7 years old. I would not recommend for children under 3 years of age.
Rnd 3. Cut a long strand of black embroidery thread. Thread your needle and embroider 3
lines next to each eye for eyelashes.
Rnd 4. Add some blush to the cheeks with actual blush if you want.

Knit with yellow yarn.
Knit a sample (5 x 5 cm) with your knitting needles and yarn to calculate how many stitches you will need for your circumference.
Pattern – (knit two, purl two) * repeat to the end of the row. Repeat this row until the end.

19 cm head circumference
11 stitches in 5 cm
So for 19 cm, you will need 42 stitches
Cast on 42 st.
ROW 1: (K2, P2) * repeat to end
ROW 2: (K2, P2) * repeat to end
Repeat row 2 until work measures needed hat’s height.
Cast off, leaving a long tail.
With yarn needle – insert a tail of yarn through all stitches on the top of the detail and pull it.
Sew together two sides of the hat (with a yarn needle).
Put on the hat and then sew ears to the head.

CHRISTMAS EDITION
GIFTCrochet with red yarn.
Make 6 pieces.
ROW 1: 8 ch (pic.55), start in the second ch from a hook, sl st in next 7 ch [7] (pic.56)
ROW 2-8: ch 1, turn the detail, BLO sl st in next 7 st [7] – 7 rounds

Fasten off.
Sew all pieces together in a gift box (with yarn needle or crochet hook and slip stitches) and stuff it.
With white yarn make 100 ch, then make sl st in each stitch starting from the second ch from a hook. 

Decorate the gift box with white detail.
Decorate the tail with a red ribbon.
Put on the hat and then sew ears to the head.

Accessories
“Ribbons” for slippers – Make 2
With color of choice, make a chain until it reaches around the leg, crossing at the front. Tension and stuffing can vary from person to person and this number may be different for some. As a reference my chain was 26. Fasten off leaving about 6 inches to sew onto the slipper.

Bows for Slippers – Make 2
Working in a magic circle make 4 DCs, slip stitch, 4 DCs, and slip stitch again, pull your string tight and wrap it around the middle of the bow 3-4 times. Tie/secure in the back and cut your string leaving a long section to sew with.

Headband –
Make a chain long enough to fit around the head, my chain came to 48, fasten off leaving a long tail to sew with.

Bow for headband –
Working in a magic circle make 7 DCs, slip stitch, 7 DCs, and slip stitch again, pull your string tight and wrap it around the middle of the bow 3-4 times. Tie/secure in the back and cut your string leaving a long section to sew with.

Dress Straps – Make 2
Chain 13
Row 1: SC in the 2nd chain from hook and in each chain across (12)
Row 2: Chain 1 and turn, SC in each chain across (12)
Fasten off leaving a long tail for sewing

Assembly 
1. Sew the ears onto either side of the head, starting at the 7th round and ending at the 10th round
2. Next, sew on the headband and bow. I placed the headband where I wanted it and sewed it in place, I had enough remaining yarn from my tail to tie a bow at the back. 
3. Attach the arms onto the body at round 26, next sew each strap over the arms. I attached at round 24 on the front and back.
4. Attach the “ribbon” for the slippers to each leg. I attached to one side, wrapped around the back to the front to create an “x” and secured to the other side of the slipper.
5. Sew each bow onto the outsides of the slippers.
6. Sew the legs onto the bottom of the body, making sure to keep them centered with the facial features.

Sewing on the legs
First, place 2 pins under each other: 1st between the 22nd and 23rd rows, and the second between the 27th and 28th rows. From the top pin, count 8 columns in both directions, set the pins. From the bottom pin – 4 columns on both sides, set the pins. The places marked with the upper pins are the tops of the toes of the legs, the lower ones are the tops of the heels of the legs. Position the legs as shown in the photo, secure with pins. Check symmetry. Sew the legs to the body, alternately grabbing the columns of the canvas, then the legs, then the torso. In this case, you need to firmly press the leg to the body so that sewing occurs along the maximum perimeter of contact between the parts.

Thread fastening of handles
Mark the entry-exit points of the needle for thread fastening with pins. The pins are set between the 3rd and 4th row from the point of transition of the head to the body approximately above the tops of the toes of the legs. Check symmetry.
1. The needle is inserted in the marked place on the left side of the mouse and withdrawn through the right side in the place marked with a pin (see photo (a))
2. The needle with the thread is pulled out so that the tip for tying into a knot remains on the left side.
3. The needle is threaded through the arm under the last row, while 2 columns are stuck (see (b).
4. Then the needle is inserted in the same place of the body on the right side from where the thread comes out (c), and is withdrawn from the left side in the same place where the end of the thread (d) comes out.
5. The left hand is strung on a thread, as well as the right (e). Repeat steps 1-5 again for strength (f).
6. At the end, after pulling the thread through the left hand, you need to pull all the threads by the ends so that the hands fit snugly against the body and it stretches a little (g, h).
7. Tie the ends with several strong knots (i) and bring them through the body into the hole under the knot (the knot will hide deep under the canvas).
