Optional: Cut 2 peaces of metal wire approx. 13-14 cm. each and insert it in each ear (pic.) crochet

Fasten off and leave long end to sew each ear to the head.
Bend the ends of wires with pliers and later insert the ends of wire in the head to hide it there.
Upper Eyelid (make 2)

Fasten off and cut off the yarn.
Cut from white felt 2 circles diam. 1 cm. (pic.)
Glue felt circle to the eye. With a pliers I cut off back of the safety eyes and of safety nose so it is easy
to glue it on with fabric or hot gun glue.
Head Patch
I crochet dogs body and head in one colour so you can add as many patches\markings as you like. I
crochet 2 patches. One for chest and belly is crochet with dogs neck and another one for head. It is
your choice to follow my patterns or make your own unique patches.

Needle sculpturing of the head
To make dog’s head shape as square like we need to sculpt it by using tapestry needle and strong
thread or yarn. Please ref. to the pictures.
Shape (not very tight, do not overdue it) the head using long tapestry needle and strong yarn. Insert the needle in the head and
pull it:

and last one will be between the ears and under the chin (pic).
and fasten off and hide the end. Do not pull the sculpturing yarn too tight.
Is no right or wrong with sculpturing, just make sure the head is square like and muzzle is flat. We
still can correct it more if it will be needed when all parts of the dog will be assembled.
Sew head patch to the head.
Sew on the ears by slightly arched each ear.
Glue on eyes and nose and sew on upper eyelids
Right Front Leg
NOTE: when you’ll crochet the legs make sure that in R4 and R5-6 you are making correctly inc. and dec. as per
pattern (front of leg -paw) and after it in R9 and R10 inc. and dec. must be at back (!) of the leg, if for some reason
it will be at front make a few sc. and make inc. and dec. for the ankle (R9 and R10) on back of the legs as per

Insert in each leg metal wire (approx. 17-18 cm. long), bend the wire at bottom of the leg and hide it
in the paw.
Assembly
Attach all parts of the dog with pins and sew it on. Before sew the legs insert legs wires into the dogs
body horizontally (pic.) and after it sew the legs.
Try with pins different legs and head positions before finally sew it on. Put more stuffing if needed.
When everything with dogs neck was pined and ready to sew, I decide
to make some more rows at front of the neck ( under chin). I attached
white yarn and crochet:
Row 1. 13sc., turn
Row 2. 12sc., turn
Row 3. 10sc. Fasten off and cut off the yarn.
You will no need to do it, if your dogs head will be in different position
(looking more down).
Crochet the tail: attach yarn to the body as on pic. and crochet in round of 7-8 sc. and after it
crochet 7 sc. +sl. st. cut off and hide the end.
