– sl st = slip stitch
– (..) = repeat the space in brackets the given number of times
– [..] = total number of stitches

Notes:
– Amigurumi is usually stitched in the round and a yarn with no stretch is best, I prefer cotton
or cotton blend.
– When changing colour, yarn over the new colour and pull through on the stitch prior.
– For this pattern, the following yarns were used:
o BROWN = Hobbii Rainbow Cotton 8/4 in col. 88
o CREAM = Hobbii Cotton Kings 8/4 in col. 38
o PINK = Hobbii Cotton Kings 8/4 in col. 19
– Generally, the hook you use for amigurumi will be a smaller than for other crochet as you
want the stitches tight.
– Your tension, the yarn thickness and hook size used will affect the size of the finished item.
My Meiko the Monkey is approximately 9cm tall (3½ inches).
– I have used embroidered the eyes for this pattern but you may choose to use safety eyes.
Please ensure that there are no loose fittings.
